The Founding Story
When we started in 2000, most people didn’t recognize that an all-natural dessert was necessary or even what their customers wanted. Times have changed!
At the time, a couple of our kids had issues that made us aware that food shouldn’t contain anything fake - no preservatives, colors, flavors, hydrogenated oils, etc. We pioneered our all-natural, premium individual desserts for grocers like Whole Foods and for hard-working pastry chefs using the same standards we had for the desserts we made for our own families.
Over the past 20 years, we’ve tried all sorts of new flavors: lavender sour cream, lemon ricotta, s’mores, green tea, you name it. But we always came back to one thing: the classics, done right. Our goal is to let our partners bring their own elements of surprise to their desserts, whether that means creative plating ideas, decorating at the store or restaurant level, or partnering with us to develop something all yours.
We also anticipate what our customers need. Since a few years back, our bakery has been 100% nut free. And we’ve been Kosher since the beginning.
